Why Automate

Why organizations choose test automation

Faster releases

Automate repetitive tests and get feedback early in the development cycle.

Higher quality

Catch issues earlier, reduce regressions, and improve application stability.

Cost efficiency

Reduce manual effort and free up your team to focus on high-value testing.

Scalable & reliable

Build maintainable frameworks that grow with your product and team.

Toolbox

Tools & technologies I use

Proven, open tooling chosen to fit your stack — not the other way around.

Playwright

Modern end-to-end testing for web applications.

  • Fast & reliable
  • Cross-browser
  • Auto-wait & tracing

Appium (iOS & Android)

Automate native, hybrid, and mobile web apps.

  • iOS & Android support
  • Real devices & emulators
  • Cross-platform

WebdriverIO

Feature-rich test automation framework.

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Cross-browser & mobile
  • Extensible & powerful

GitHub Actions (CI)

Continuous integration for automation you can trust.

  • Automated test runs
  • Parallel execution
  • Reports & notifications

The right tools and proven framework patterns deliver robust, efficient, and maintainable test automation built for long-term success.

Coverage

What I automate

Web applications

Functional, UI, regression, and smoke tests.

Mobile applications

Native, hybrid, and mobile web testing.

APIs & services

API validation, contract testing, and more.

Cross-browser

Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and more.

CI/CD pipelines

Automated test execution wired into your CI.

Automation Process

Five steps from tool choice to maintained suite

01

Test tool selection

Match the tool to your stack, team skills, and CI — not to a trend.

02

Define scope of automation

Automate what repeats and carries risk; leave the rest manual.

03

Planning, design, development

Build a framework your developers can read and extend.

04

Test execution

Run on every pull request, with reports the team trusts.

05

Maintenance

Keep it green: fix flake, retire dead tests, add coverage.

Reporting

Reports your team will actually read

Every run produces more than a pass/fail count. You get a clear picture of what ran, what broke, and why — without digging through raw logs.

  • Run summaryPass/fail/skipped counts, duration, and the browser or device matrix for every run.
  • Failure detailTrace, screenshot, video, and console/network logs captured automatically for every failed test.
  • Trends & flake trackingPass-rate history and a quarantine list so flaky tests get fixed, not ignored.
  • Delivered where you workStatus checks on every pull request, plus an HTML report artifact and an optional Slack or email digest.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What tools do you use for test automation?

Primarily Playwright for web, Appium for mobile, and WebdriverIO where a broader ecosystem helps — all integrated with GitHub Actions for CI. Tool choice follows your stack and team skills, not a fixed template.

Can you automate both web and mobile apps?

Yes. Web apps are covered with Playwright; native, hybrid, and mobile-web apps on iOS and Android are covered with Appium against real devices and emulators.

How do you handle flaky tests?

With stable locators, auto-waiting, isolated test data, ret/quarantine policies, and trace-on-failure so root cause is visible. Flaky tests are triaged, not ignored.

Do you integrate with our CI/CD pipeline?

Yes. Suites are wired into your pipeline — GitHub Actions, or your existing CI — with parallel execution, artifacts, and reporting on every pull request.

How soon will we see results?

A smoke suite covering critical paths is usually running in CI within the first couple of weeks, with coverage expanding from there against agreed priorities.
